I can see how (like Facebook) it would be a useful tool. I’d love to see people using Pinterest in subversive ways, or more examples of how it could work against gender expectations and roles and so on. I like Vern’s project–could be interesting as an intertextuality tool in teaching, or even as a presentation tool. Not all the recipes I’ve liked online are pinnable either, which is a bummer for me–I can’t see using it as a recipe collation tool yet. I’d love to hear about your book project too! Maybe we can do coffee sometime in the next month?
