New series over at The Seattle Star

(view from the Tacoma-Vashon ferry)

Over at The Seattle Star, I’m starting a new series called “The Show Must Go On” about taking my work from page to stage.

It’s about writing, performing, yoga, the creative process, and—of course, the thread that connects them all—fear. I’ll be back here with more about the book, but I hope you’ll join me over at The Star as well. Cheers!

Welcome

I'm a writer and editor living in the Pacific Northwest. I left academia in 2011, and decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a creative writer: my own private MFA. This blog is the ongoing story of that transition.

I write about issues that interest me including (but not limited to) books, food, family, diversity, education, yoga, fine arts, and Asian America.
